Vom Löwenherzig Rottweilers is not a commercial kennel, but rather a small Code of Ethics Rottweiler breeder that takes great pride in the
Rottweilers we produce. We are very selective in our breeding and it is our goal to produce quality Rottweilers that possess correct
structure, excellent temperaments, strong working drives and genetic soundness. We believe in breeding and promoting the 'Complete
Rottweiler' in both form and function regardless of whether our dogs are going to companion homes or top show/working homes. We
believe that everyone, be it pet owner or canine professional, deserves the opportunity to own a quality-bred, sound and healthy
Rottweiler.
We refuse to chase the "hottest or most winning" dog on the scene or breed to a dog based on kennel name alone. We carefully choose
stud dogs on their individual merit and their possible contributions to our breeding program, even if this means flying our bitches across the
country or enduring the rather difficult process of shipping females to Europe to be bred.
Our dogs, bred from the top bloodlines in the world, live in the house with us and are considered part of our family. Our puppies are also
home-raised from birth and are socialized and handled by us from the day they are born. Early handling and imprinting are crucial to the
stability of Rottweiler puppies. All of our puppies receive Early Neurological Stimulation and are temperament tested in home and offsite. All
potential homes are interviewed to assess their needs and the appropriate temperament type for their situation. This is done in order to aid
in "matching" the puppy to the home.
We care about the dogs we produce. We are not breeders who hand you your dog, take your money and tell you to have a nice life. We
strive to keep track of the puppies we produce because they provide vital health and temperament information to our future breeding
program. We believe that we are responsible for the puppies we produce for life and not just the first 8 weeks. We stand behind our dogs
for the duration of their lifespan.
We strongly believe in QUALITY over quantity and therefore do not have a large inventory of puppies, but we do have litters born at
various times throughout the year. Below are listed various litters that are now or will soon be available.
